Dell Netbook Modelle - Inspiron Mini und Latitude
Der texanische Hersteller Dell hat mittlerweile in zwei Modell-Reihen Netbook Variationen anzubieten: Inspiron und Latitude.
Dell Inspiron Mini
Das Inspiron Mini gibt es in drei verschiedenen Größen – von der kleinen 8,9 Zoll großen Variante über die weit verbreiteten 10,1 Zoll bis hin zum Exemplar mit 12-Zoll-Display. In dieser Größe wird das Dell Mini schon zum Subnotebook. Dell aktualisiert seine Netbooks natürlich ebenfalls mit den neuen Intel Atom Prozessoren und führt auch Inspiron Mini Geräte mit High Definition Display und HD-Beschleuniger: Wie sich das Netbook mit diesen Komponenten schlägt, konnten wir beim Dell Mini 10 Test begutachten. Dells Netbooks sind zwar etwas dicker und schwerer als einige der superschlanken Konkurrenz-Netbooks, punkten aber mit einer stabilen Verarbeitung. Neue Pfade betritt das Dell Inspiron Duo: eine Mischung aus Dual-Core-Netbook und Tablet PC.
Aus der Latitude Serie, deren Netbook Modelle sich an Schüler richten, sind das Dell Latitude 2100 und das neuere Dell Latitude 2110 erhältlich. Die Dell Netbooks lassen sich nach Belieben konfigurieren. Wer etwas Geld sparen möchte, kann oftmals Ubuntu statt Windows als Betriebssystem wählen.
