Acer Aspire One - Acer Netbook Modelle im Überblick
Auch der taiwanische Hersteller Acer stieg natürlich in Netbook Geschäft ein. 2006 erreichte Acer erstmals weltweit Platz drei im Notebook- und den vierten Platz im PC-Markt. Durch den im Folgejahr getätigten Zukauf von Packard Bell konnte Acer seine Position nach eigenen Angaben weiter stärken.
Das Acer Aspire One
Wie auch andere PC-Hersteller startete Acer mit einem Netbook mit 8,9 Zoll großem Display: das Acer Aspire One. Die erste Ausführung des Acer Aspire One kam mit Windows XP und Linux auf den Markt, die Windows-Version konnten wir ausprobieren. Im Acer Aspire One 150X Test fiel Acer durch eine hochwertige und stabile Verarbeitung ab. Die neueren Acer Aspire One Netbook Modelle sind größer als ihre Vorgänger und haben sich bei einer Displaygröße von 10,1 Zoll eingependelt. Acer bietet auch ein Netbook mit Intel Atom Prozessor im 11,6 Zoll Format an, damit kratzt das Unternehmen aber bereits an der Subnotebook Klasse. Neu ist das Aspire one Pro, das sich speziell an Business-Nutzer richtet.
